Course purpose1. Become familiar with major themes and events in East Asian history, 1600-present.
2. Begin to learn about interpreting and analyzing primary sources.
3. Complete first draft of shared, online textbook of East Asian history, 1600-present, based on lectures and primary sources.

ContentThis is a lecture course on East Asian history, 1600-present.
Audio lectures will be online, leaving time in class to:
